Workday® 2022R2 Overview

Twice a year, Workday releases major sets of feature updates designed to expand functionality and enhance user experience. This year’s second release - Workday 2022R2 - has already gone into effect on September 10th.
The most notable changes in this update are related to the homepage and navigation. You may have already noticed the streamlined look and might be wondering where to find all of your favorite features.
The applications, or “worklets,” that used to take up most of your homepage space have been moved to the “Global Navigation Menu,” which is fully customizable and can be accessed anywhere in Workday so that you no longer have to return to the homepage to switch applications!
You might have also noticed the new “Shortcuts” and “Timely Suggestions” tabs on your homepage, which will allow for additional personalization and improved productivity.
Some other notable changes include an update in terminology from “Time Off” to “Absence” in order to avoid confusion when using different applications, as well as an improved search functionality.
